The literal translation from Catalan language is "the stair of the roe deer", but actually anybody in good shape can easily make it, just avoid noon time in July or August.

No hurry, it's 656 steps, take your time, enjoy the breathtaking view, take a photo, and remember that ascending is more tiring than descending :-)  Don't worry, after completing it, you will be happy.

On the bottom of the stairs you can buy a ticket and visit the Grotte di Nettuno. If you don't feel like going back up by foot, get a boat to Dragunara beach to be picked up later by your friends. 

You start the descend from the top of Capo Caccia and you can get there by car or in Summer use Cattogno Beach Bus.
