The main building you can see arriving on the beach is an old prison, that was closed in 1961, and it's now the Porto Conte Park central office. Tramariglio beach is not very wide but very peculiar as, being inside the big Porto Conte Gulf it reminds you of a mountain lake. You can visit from here Porto Conte Natural Park where you can make trekking among the Mediterranean scrub, or visit the old prison. It takes around 30 minutes by car to reach the beach
