The sun setting inside the sea is always a gorgeous moment. Alghero is the perfect place for sunset lovers as you can watch it from many different places like the Bastioni (city walls), or from the port, or Lido beach, or the high cliffs on the road from Alghero to Bosa. 

You will have every day a different show, and I don't think there's a single tourist that has left Alghero without a photo of the sunset with Capo Caccia "sleeping man".

If you want to fully appreciate the view of the old town and marina, a ride on the Ferris wheel located in Piazzale della Pace is also a must (April to October only)
